What are Miniature Silky Fainting Goats?

Miniature Silky Fainting Goats were developed in the late 1990's in the United States & have been selectively bred to resemble silky terrier dogs with beautiful straight, floor-length coats.  They are under 24" tall but what they lack in height they make up for in personality!

Although it is not required for them to faint to be registered, I strive to maintain this trait in my breeding program.  In addition to being adorable and entertaining this trait makes them easy to contain - they do not climb like "regular" goats and my herd is easily contained with 4 foot high fencing.

They are absolutely wonderful

gentle pets that crave human

company, attention and snuggles.

My goats are leash trained & I

spend hours & hours with babies to ensure they are well handled, and love people.

Why Not Farm is also home to "Konnie" - the 1st Trick Titled goat in Canada!  Check out Konnie's page to see how wild & wonderful these little goats are.

Herd tested annually for Johnes, CAE, Scrapies & vaccinated for CL.  Happy to provide copies of test results for entire herd to buyers.
I have a completely CLOSED HERD
